Finland is a Nordic country situated between the
West and the East and offering the best of both traditions.
In Finland you'll find pure and varied nature with lots
of exciting and relaxing activities. The vibrant culture
provides a great variety of events and tours suited for
different tastes. Finland's congress, conference and incentive
travel services are also internationally acclaimed. The
population is merely 5,171,000 and in towns or urban areas
live 65% of Finns. Finland is an independent republic since
December 6, 1917. Parliament consists of one chamber with
200 members chosen for four years by direct and proportional
election. Finland offers a lot of space, innumerate happenings
both in urban settings and in nature, warmhearted people
and fresh, pure and invigorating air all year round.
Helsinki is the largest city in Finland, with over
500,000 inhabitants. The Helsinki region has a population
of 1.2 million. Helsinki is the centre of government, business,
culture and science in Finland. The University of Helsinki

This is enough to populate a good-sized town in Finland.
