The Nordpraktik programme in Sweden starts with a theoretical week of interactive seminars. This will prepare you for the internship at the host company and the Swedish business life.
When applying to Nordpraktik in Sweden, you must be ready to participate in the educational part as well as training at a host company. The education is held at a boarding school close to Stockholm. This week will also give you the opportunity to broaden your network for future business.
There are four fixed groups for internships: in April, September, October or November. Every group has about 30-35 participants.
All the groups start with the education (7 days), followed by internship (3 weeks) at one or two host companies. Before you return back home you will have two days of summary. The whole period will last for almost five weeks. If you and the host company agree you may prolong the internship with one, up to three weeks.

Introduction to Culture Awareness
Why can it be difficult to obtain simplest objectives when you find yourself in a different cultural environment - expectations and results. Culture role-game.

Introduction to the Swedish Society
Why has Sweden developed into a welfare state? Driving forces of the Swedish society and business in particular. Sweden and the "Eastern countries". Sweden and the EU.

Project management and Coaching
"Project" is A REALITY of today's management - you can't avoid it.
Project theory. Project game and individual project consultations.
(Already at the interview, you will be informed about the project work and asked to send a project proposal to the Swedish co-ordinator.)

Leadership and Management
Especially in the modern changing context, and particularly in Sweden.
Project leadership - how to gather a "dream-team" and be a successful project leader
 

Business Finance and Communication
The cornerstone of successful leadership is successful communication.
How to read and use financial information to make good business.
 

Internship
The internship can take place at one or two host-companies for three up to six weeks. This on-job training is to apply and develop knowledge and skills in the real Swedish business environment, to establish a platform for business contacts between the companies.
 

Final seminar
Financial information as Indication of change needs and Management of change - how to "plant" your new ideas into your "old" organisation.
